Aluminum-manganese alloy is widely used in industrial production for its welding performance, strength and corrosion resistance. Here, Anyang Wanfeng Industrial Company will briefly introduce aluminum-manganese alloy.
Aluminum-manganese alloy has excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and toughness. It can be colored by sulfuric acid anodizing, filling the gap in China’s die-casting industry. Aluminum-manganese alloy has been widely used in decorative shells, car models, toys, handicrafts, fishing gear, and door handles.
Ferromanganese, as one of the ferroalloys used most, is mainly used in steelmaking as deoxidizer and alloying additive. Before smelting, manganese carbonate ores need to be roasted, and fine ores need to be sintered and agglomerated. Generally, ores with high iron and phosphorus content can only be used in combination, or selective catalytic reduction is used to refine low-iron, low-phosphorus, manganese-rich slag. The auxiliary raw material is mainly lime, and silica is generally added when manganese-silicon alloy is smelted.
Aluminum-manganese alloy is produced by electrolytic process. It has the advantages of simple process, uniform alloy composition and low production cost. The technical conditions for the production of aluminum-manganese alloy by electrolysis include process parameters used in the production, the feeding system and the manganese content in the aluminum-manganese alloy.
